 10月3日讯 官方消息，切尔西对阵富勒姆的裁判组已经确定，此前连续引起争议判罚的西蒙-胡珀将担任第四官员。 英超第7轮，利物浦1-2热刺，西蒙-胡珀的判罚出现巨大争议。迪亚斯进球被吹越位，琼斯的红牌、若塔吃到的第一张黄牌都引起了争议，赛后裁判公司也发布声明，确认利物浦vs热刺，迪亚斯的进球被吹越位一事是误判。
西蒙-胡珀曾在本赛季第一轮曼联vs狼队的比赛中，也出现了误判，他漏判了狼队的补时点球，并且遭到了停赛。
