 1月31日讯 亚洲杯1/8决赛，伊拉克2-3不敌约旦。比赛中，伊拉克前锋侯赛因过度庆祝吃到第二张黄牌被红牌罚下。亚足联官方公布了对侯赛因的处罚结果，球员被自动停赛一场，并罚款2000美元。 比赛第75分钟，伊拉克前锋侯赛因在进球后因为“过度庆祝”吃到第二张黄牌被罚下。裁判的这一判罚引起了巨大争议，尤其是在约旦做出同样的庆祝动作而未吃牌的情况下。不过现场视频显示，侯赛因进球后在场外长时间庆祝，主裁至少吹哨两次敦促侯赛因回场。而侯赛因似乎并未在意，在回场后又继续坐下庆祝，最终主裁再次吹哨，出示了第二张黄牌。
